Management Team

Walter is a senior management executive with extensive governance experience in the health sector in Europe, Asia/Pacific, Australia and New Zealand.

Over the course of his career, Walter has held executive roles in Hospital, Pharmaceutical and Medical Supplies, including Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail and Wholesale operations.

Walter has extensive health sector experience, including strategy development, managing stakeholder relationships and project management as CEO of Zuellig Pharma, a public listed company.

Michael is responsible for leading the global expansion of Atlantis. He is instrumental in developing Atlantis’ professional consulting business along with ensuring the company stays focused on delivering effective and innovative adherence programs for its Clients. He was the 2001 New Zealand Entrepreneur of the Year, and is a key commercial advisor to numerous entrepreneurial endeavours globally.

Based in London, Jonny is responsible for the direction and growth of the Atlantis Healthcare businesses globally.  Joining Atlantis Healthcare in 2003, Jonny now oversees the Global Solutions team, with his main focus being intellectual property development and assisting with key projects across the markets in which Atlantis Healthcare operates.

Hamish has over 15 years’ experience in relationship marketing and has spent the last six years working in patient communication and support. Hamish is an expert in ensuring patient programs are delivering their strategic goals and have the operational and technical infrastructure to make them work. Hamish became a director of Atlantis Healthcare in 2002 and has won numerous awards for loyalty, relationship marketing and patient support programs.

An experienced business manager and a fully qualified accountant (holding both NZ and UK professional accountancy qualifications) he is the CFO of Atlantis Healthcare Group. Tony Wai has worked in senior finance roles in some of NZ’s largest companies and has also run a number of successful start ups and high growth companies. He brings a strong commercial focus to the company and has an intimate knowledge of the Healthcare services space from a business perspective.

As General Manager of Atlantis Healthcare Australia, Paul is responsible for ensuring that overall logistics, program implementation and Return on Investment (ROI) are delivered effectively. Prior to joining Atlantis Healthcare in 2008, Paul spent over 20 years with IMS in various senior roles and has acquired strong management experience in this area.

As General Manager of Atlantis Healthcare UK, Kate is responsible for ensuring that overall logistics, program implementation and Return on Investment (ROI) are delivered effectively for all UK clients. Prior to joining Atlantis Healthcare in 2008, Kate spent over eight years working for Roche Products Ltd. working on the world’s first DTC and patient support program launch for Xenical for weight management as well as gaining experience in Public Relations, DAC campaigns, CRM programs and Public Affairs & Government liaison. More recently, Kate spent four years at DDB Health Advertising where she worked in Strategic Planning and Business Director roles supporting brands in different therapy areas (Respiratory, Diabetes, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Hep C, CV and Neurology).

Ana Maria has more than 15 years experience in Relationship Marketing, with wide-ranging expertise in designing and implementing loyalty/reward programs in both B2C and B2B environments.

Ana Maria brings extensive experience in managing marketing projects and teams in multicultural environments, having worked in Americas and Europe. She has an MBA and Communications Science with Major in Marketing and Advertising, and is fluent in French, English and Spanish.

Grant Taylor, MSc (Hons), PGDipClinPsych, FNZCCP is a registered clinical psychologist with a career spanning more than 30 years in clinical and health psychology practice with a wide range of patient groups and conditions. In his last position, he built and led national child helpline 0800WHATSUP in New Zealand and chaired an international taskforce on child advocacy for the Amsterdam-based NGO Child Helpline International.

Mike is the Group Technology Manager for Atlantis Healthcare. Mike and his team of business analysts and developers are responsible for the technology strategy and implementation at Atlantis. Over his career Mike has held senior positions in sales, marketing and technology strategy for a number of high profile New Zealand high-tech companies. Relating to healthcare, Mike developed and successfully deployed the technology architecture for a number of successful high-tech healthcare solutions, including the Healthplus smartcard.

Anna is responsible for driving global standardisation and consistency in approach initiatives, from a communications and business process perspective. She has a background in marketing services and operation roles across medical, health and cosmetic companies throughout NZ & the UK.

Dirk Henning Lenz PhD (Biochem), LLB is qualified with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and PhD in Biochemistry. He possess a unique combination of skills in the areas of Legal, Regulatory, Business Development, and Commercialisation, particularly in the field of healthcare products. Dirk is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
