The Institute has been established as a centre of excellence and innovation dedicated to the research, development and application of scalable evidence-based adherence and self-management solutions.

Our Charter

The Atlantis Research Institute’s charter is to bring together the very best health researchers in adherence and self-management to develop transformative solutions that deliver optimal patient outcomes.

The Institute undertakes the development of innovative research and intervention to improve patient outcomes through addressing specific issues related to medication non-adherence and chronic disease management.

Who we are

The Institute brings together a team of leading internationally recognised experts in the field of health psychology and chronic disease self-management. Our international clinical team is lead by Professor John Weinman and Professor Keith Petrie who steer the Institute’s research and development initiatives.
