Client and Patient Testimonials

Client views from EyeforPharma (PACE Summit 31st - 1st June)

“I thought the two days were really valuable and I was able to take some tangible examples away of programmes that have worked to address compliance. Perhaps more useful however was understanding what didn’t work so well, so that we are able to develop an offering that truly adds value to the patient and our payors.

The Atlantis Healthcare workshop not only gave me an understanding of the reasons behind non-adherence but provided an opportunity to discuss potential internal and external challenges to such a project, enabling me to broaden my perspective when considering next steps. “

“The conference has been an excellent place to get new ideas from different points of view all. All focus is on patients care and better patient outcomes”.

Cristina Alverez | AstraZeneca

“ This has been an insightful conference and I am going to recommend that all my colleagues should attend next years”.

“One of the ways that I normally hear about medication adherence is actually through claims data, which is literally just about has the prescription been refilled and if you look at something like a medication possession ratio that doesn’t actually really tell you if they have actually taken the drug or not, just did they refill the script. So I think it’s been really enlightening figuring out all the new ways that people are thinking about medication adherence and although obviously traditionally pharma companies are usually very close to their chest about what there actually doing and I think people here have been really quite open about some of the ideas they have been having and so I am really excited to see next year if people are going to come back with any projects that they have come up with since this meeting and what the result had been like, so I’m really looking forward to that”.

“It gives me confidence to go back to the business and really feedback on what we have heard today and knowing really that we are doing the right thing. In terms of our approach, the patient support programme, we have heard a number of things, I think there are still things that we can still explore particularly around avenues around enrolling patients like packaging, however I think were on the right path working with Atlantis, and at the moment looking at really understanding the patient in the first place and what the issues are out there and really trying to tailor our interventions to what the patients really need, so everything that we deliver is personalised that will resonate towards that patient group. I think the key challenge for us and for a lot of people at this meeting and it’s been discussed a lot is around measurement and we still need to get on top of that, but that’s clearly going to be key in terms of being able to go back, particularly in terms of our internal stakeholders to say this has really really worked which, I believe it will do”.

“Atlantis Healthcare approached us to discuss the impact that their adherence programmes can have on patient outcomes and brand performance. We engaged Atlantis Healthcare to develop an adherence solution. Their well-defined process for the programme establishment, launch and the ongoing management of adherence programmes ensured the programme was launched on budget and on brief. They have a great understanding of both patients and the healthcare professional community and this is reflected in their strategy and also the creative. Prior to commencing work with Atlantis Healthcare, we subjected their infrastructure to a rigorous audit and we were satisfied. They put a lot of energy into the execution of their programmes and the ongoing management of our business, which shows in results that we have been able to measure against specific KPI objectives. The adherence programme has generated a significant impact on our bottom line within a very short space of time. We are extremely happy with the results to date, and highly recommend Atlantis Healthcare as a partner.”

“I have been working with Atlantis Healthcare on and off for almost a year on a global Patient Support Program (PSP). This program offers value-added services to patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals, optimising patients’ visual outcomes by highlighting the importance of ongoing treatment within the maintenance phase (which occurs after a three-month loading dose). Atlantis Healthcare has been responsible for developing the global database for this Patient Support Programme (PSP). They were chosen from four potential vendors, following a rigorous evaluation, due to: their expertise in patient support programs in pharmaceuticals; their ability to service the European and pan-Pacific markets through their offices in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Singapore. Finally, regular audits by PriceWaterhouseCoopers provided additional comfort. I have been pleased with the output of the global database, as we go live with the pilot market in Australia in less than a week! As well, their customer service is excellent both in working with other agencies (including the CRM agency that developed the PSP), but also with the local contacts in the various countries.”

Patients

I have been on Arimidex for 5 months and enclose my blister pack so that I am ensured I receive my copy of Verve. I have found the magazine really helpful and devour every word.

When I first went on Arimidex, I was not sure what to expect in terms of side effects. I live in regional Queensland and I was first prescribed Arimidex over the phone. My oncologist, although very good, did not explain very much. I also did not receive anything from the chemist.I wondered why I was feeling so different and what was happening to me. My doctor couldn’t help and wanted to send me to a psychologist, said I wasn’t coping. I knew that was not sitting true for me.It wasn’t until I received the Welcome issue of Verve with the article on side effects that I realised I wasn’t going crazy.I am dealing with the side effects quite well now. I believe I am lucky to have the opportunity for an extended survival rate. I never miss a day, again because of one of your articles. The magazine keeps me on track and in touch. I am looking forward to the next edition.
